‘Suspect in Custody’ Foot Pursuit from Motel 6 for Possible Drug Activity Tuesday Night

Arlington Heights police were in foot pursuit of a male/black with a red and white shirt and jeans about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday. The pursuing officer called for backup and the suspect was in custody within about two minutes. At least two other male/blacks, who were not fleeing, were questioned at the Motel 6 at 441 West Algonquin Road. The fleeing male/black was apprehended in the 75 to 90 block of West Algonquin Road.

The Arlington Heights police searched the area for drugs, which were possibly found in the area of the pursuit. Rolling Meadows Police K-9 unit assisted with the sniff for drugs.

A TCS (Trafficking in Controlled Substance) charge is possibly involved in this case. Unknown number of suspects arrested in this case.
