A tornado touched down in Appleton and Menasha, Wisconsin about noon on Monday, July 27, 2026. The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed the radar-verified tornado at approximately 12:01 p.m. CDT. The tornado traveled southeast across the Fox Cities region in east-central Wisconsin, generating peak estimated winds of up to 124 mph. The tornado dissipated near Lake Winnebago.

Multiple trees and tree limbs are down in the area
Initially, there were no known fatalities or injuries.
Structural damage and vehicle damage was reported
A roof collapsed at the Miller Electric facility on Perkins Street in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Multiple cars and semi-trucks were flipped onto their sides, and many vehicles had significant damage in the roadway. Sheet metal debris was scattered on roadways along with large tree limbs.
