Rolling Meadows police, firefighters and paramedics responded about 6:08 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026 to a report of a crash with injuries at Algonquin Road and Barker Avenue across from the Rolling Meadows Fire Department Station Fire Station 15 in Rolling Meadows.
Police were first on the scene and discovered a three-vehicle intersection crash involving a small white SUV, a dark sedan, and a blue pickup truck. Rolling Meadows Fire Department responded with a fire engine and an ambulance.
Traffic in the westbound lanes of Algonquin Road was the most effective route in the area.
Initially, there was no information whether there were any EMS transports. Two vehicles sustained moderate to severe damage, and the blue pickup truck sustained apparent minor damage. The driver of the blue pickup truck was apparently waiting to turn on to Algonquin Road when the other two vehicles crashed, and the dark sedan veered into the blue pickup truck.
