The Palatine Police Department, with assistance from the Northern Illinois Police Alarm System (NIPAS) responded on Monday, June 29, 2026, during the morning hours to conduct police activity in the area of North Baldwin Road and Dundee Quarter as part of an ongoing investigation.

According to the Palatine Police Department, residents may have observed an increased police presence in the area during this time.

The police activity involved only local and regional law enforcement resources, according to the Palatine Police Department.
