Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 12:33 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026 to a report of a crash with injuries involving a small SUV and an e-bike at Dryden and Kensington Road in Arlington Heights. The operator of the electric bike was a male adolescent, who appeared to have a minor scrape to his knee. Paramedics treated the male crash victim, but did not transport.




The Tuttio e-bike was down at the northeast corner of Dryden Place and Kensington Road across from Mariano’s. There was a bike helmet at the scene. Initially, it was unknown if the e-bike and SUV made contact. The silver SUV was stopped southbound in the northbound lanes of Dryden Place north of the e-bike after the crash. This particular Tuttio e-bike is estimated to cost about $1100 new. Initially, the damage estimate to the e-bike was unknown.
