Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Rolling Meadows responded about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026 to a report of a serious rollover crash with injuries. Police, firefighters, and paramedics arrive to discover a white BMW compact SUV involved in a crash with a black Ford F150. The BMW’s impact rolled the pickup truck, pushing the Ford F-150 into an overhead traffic signal standard. The Major Case Assistance Team – Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction (MCAT-STAR) was assigned to the scene for an extended on-scene crash investigation. There were a total of three occupants in the two vehicles, according the Rolling Meadows Police Department. One person died at the scene. One person was critically injured, and one person was treated for injuries initially believed to be non-life-threatening.
