
An 18-year-old male victim was killed after the driver of a 2015 Ford Explorer struck his bicycle, as well as a second vehicle in the block of 6300 South Kedzie in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood of Chicago on April 5, 2026 at 1:10 a.m. The driver fled from the scene on foot, leaving the fatally injured bicyclist at the intersection of Kedzie Avenue and 63rd Street.
The initial video description from Chicago PD indicates that the suspect is an unknown driver in a 2015 red Ford Explorer. A surveillance video released from a local business at the intersection shows the hit-and-run driver walk away from his crashed Ford Explorer.
