CARDINAL NEWS Identity Released for Park Ridge Woman Killed in Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Crash at Cumberland Ave and Peterson in Park Ridge
The Park Ridge Police Department confirmed that there is investigation of a traffic accident involving a pedestrian that occurred in the intersection of Cumberland Avenue and Peterson Avenue in Park Ridge. The accident occurred at approximately 6:26 a.m., and involved a vehicle that struck a pedestrian, according to police. The pedestrian was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
The Park Ridge Police Department did not initially confirm that the incident was a hit-and-run crash.
The intersection, located near Mariano’s was closed as police conducted the on-scene investigation.
