Investigators do not have a name, and there is no cell phone track for the individual who fatally shot Charlie Kirk. Therefore, investigators are relying on the public to make a connection with the presentation of the physical description of the alleged shooter — especially a black T-shirt with an American Flag and an eagle displayed on the front of the T-shirt. Also, the sunglasses, and a black baseball cap with a white triangle on the front of the baseball cap.

Commissioner of the Utah Department of Public Safety Beau Mason narrated a presentation of surveillance video that captured the motion of the alleged shooter of Charlie Kirk as the offender fled the rooftop and then fled the grounds of the building near the rooftop the vantage point where a single shot was fired toward Charlie Kirk.

New Video Summary …

A new video shows the roof of the building where the shooter was in the top left corner of the video frame, and proceeds to the right corner of the building. He climbs off the edge, and drops down to the ground. He left some palm impressions, and there’s some smudge on some places where investigators are looking to collect DNA. There’s also a shoe print on the ground. The suspect is clearly identified as wearing Converse tennis shoest.

The Person of Interest is also wearing a black T-shirt and black pants.

There appears to be some white on the soles of those Converse tennis shoes.

According to Commissioner of the Utah Department of Public Safety Beau Mason, those are all identifiable items that investigators are looking for in the still images.

There is a very distinctive T-shirt with an American flag on the front that also appears to have an eagle on it.

There’s also a black baseball cap with a triangle on it,, and there is a pair of sunglasses — all distinctive all things that investigators would ask the public to look for.

If anyone knows someone who has those items, or who has been seen wearing those items; investigators are looking for all that type of information.

Additionally, after dropping off the building, the alleged shooter moved around across the grass area around the parking lot. He crosses the street, then he moves over into the wooded.

Area Video evidence was utilized to track his movements and to locate his firearm in a wooded area near the parking lot.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox reminded the public to the consider the T-shirt with the distinctive American flag and eagle, and the hat with the triangle, and the sunglasses, to potentially help bring the perpetrator to justice.
