There was a heavy downpour in at Deer Park Towne Center, but it barely rained in most of Arlington Heights late Thursday afternoon and evening. Storms moving southwest to northwest stayed strong north of Arlington Heights (eg., Round Lake) and south of Arlington Heights (e.g, Cicero, Lombard), but storms that were headed toward Arlington Heights diminished in intensity.
