A new Chase branch will be opening soon on the north side of Arlington Heights near the intersection of Palatine Road and Rand Road. The address for the new Chase branch bank is 585 East Palatine Road in Arlington Heights.
The bank is replacing two older branch locations — one in Arlington Heights, and one in Palatine.
The branch at 300 East Rand Road in Arlington Heights is moving out of the old location on Friday, June 13, 2025.
The branch at 1131 East Dundee Road in Palatine is moving out of the old location on Friday, June 13, 2025.
The Chase team at 585 East Palatine Rd. in Arlington Heights will be ready to welcome customers on Monday, June 16, 2025.
The location, which was previously the site of an AT&T phone store, and before that, a Gap store was home to a larger building. The older building was torn down for the new Chase branch. AT&T moved from the southwest corner of Rand Road and Palatine Road to the Southpoint Shopping Center, which is located at the southeast corner of Rand Road and Palatine Road. The Gap store did not relocate in Arlington Heights.
The 40,000 square-foot AT&T building was demolished, and the new Chase Bank branch building is constructed with only 6,000 square feet of floor space at 585 East Palatine Road. The new branch amounts to a 46 percent decrease in floor space compared to the Northpoint Chase branch location. There are two drive-thru lanes — one less than the existing location at Northpoint.
Initial plans indicated a unique design … timber frame construction, instead of steel frame. Solar panels were also planned for a roof installation. There are also “green elements” that will pass storm water to underground water vaults.
The Chase bank plans were approved at the Village Board meeting January 16, 2024.

The branch strategy for Chase is evolving as economic conditions and consumer preferences shift. CEO Jamie Dimon’s warnings of “considerable turbulence” in the economy, along with the bank’s strong financial performance in Q1 2025, indicate that Chase will continue to pursue a cautious yet opportunistic approach by closing underperforming branches and opening new ones in strategic locations.
For customers, the banking experience is increasingly becoming a blend of digital convenience while complementing a physical bank presence, which can offer complex transaction service, financial advising, and small business support.
Chase is evaluating local market needs while leveraging its technological investments. According to a 2024 J.D. Power study, Chase ranks highly in customer satisfaction, partly due to its robust branch network and 24/7 digital services.
