Delta Flight 1213 was evacuated at Orlando International Airport around 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2025 because of engine fire. The flight spotted flames from an engine just after leaving the gate. Evacuation slides were deployed and passengers were seen sliding down from the aircraft to the airfield surface. The initial report from Delta is that all 212 on board were evacuated safely, and initially no injuries were reported.
The flight was scheduled to depart from Orlando to Atlanta at 11:00 a.m.
