Glenview police officers responded at 10:04 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2025 to a report of an armed robbery in the block of 1700 Bluestem Lane in Glenview. The preliminary investigation revealed a male and female who returned home were approached by three armed male offenders. The offenders displayed their handguns and demanded the victims’ belongings. The male and female gave up their belongings, and the offenders then fled in a Jaguar SUV.
Neither victim was injured during the encounter.
The vehicle used in the robbery was located unoccupied in the block of 4300 Federal Street in Chicago.
The offenders were described by the victims as males, wearing black face coverings and dark clothing.
The robbery, which occurred on a street of single-family homes in The Glen, is being investigated by Glenview Police Detectives.
