The FBI released bank video surveillance images of the offender in a bank robbery that occurred about 1:23 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the US Bank at 60 South Meacham Road in Schaumburg. The same bank was robbed on Wednesday October 18, 2023 about 10:52 a.m.
According to the FBI, the offender made a verbal demand for funds and displayed a black handgun, and then fled on foot. As of Wednesday evening at 5:07 p.m. no vehicle was described connected to the robbery.
Following analysis of the bank surveillance video the offender was described as …
a male/white or male/Hispanic,
in his mid- to late-20s or early 30s,
approximately 6’0″ to 6’2″,
having a medium build (200-220 LBS),
wearing a dark tan or brown in color pull-over style hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a blalck gaiter style facial covering over the lower half of his face, blue jeans, and black gym shoes with white accents and soles,
bare hands (wearing no gloves), and
carrying a gray backpack.
Police officers from Schaumburg responded about 1:25 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2024 to a report of an armed bank robbery at 60 Meacham Road just south of Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg.
The offender displayed a black handgun during the robbery.
Initially, the offender was described as a male/white or male/Hispanic, 6’2″ and wearing a gaiter mask, green hoodie, and carrying a tan backpack.
Initially, an unknown amount of cash was reported taken during the robbery.
The offender was last seen on foot southbound from the scene.
Initially no vehicle description was connected to the armed robbery information.
