The residential address behind the commercial property is in the block of 400 Lucille Avenue, and is directly across the street from the Fox River Grove Protection District fire station at the corner of Lucille Avenue and Illinois Street.

The fire was extinguished within about 15-20 minutes.

A black smoke header was visible to firefighters responding from other communities, and motorists along Northwest Highway could also see the smoke header.

Initially, no injuries were reported.

Smoke was hanging in the air after the fire was extinguished. The header could be seen pushing north before the fire was extinguished.
