Police, firefighters and paramedics from Morris responded about 4:26 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2022 to a report of shots fired in a hallway at an apartment building in the block of 500 Twilight Drive in Morris.
Police on arrival reported one female down with a gunshot wound in the hallway of the apartment building. Police declared the scene was secure and EMS was moved up for patient contact.
Police have assigned an active shooter response with Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and SWAT personnel assigned to the scene.
