Police, firefighters and paramedics from Glenview responded about 10:50 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 to a report of a multiple vehicle crash at West Lake Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue. Three drivers were transported to Glenbrook Hospital, all in stable condition. The two drivers involved in the crash were transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. One of the drivers was listed in stable condition, and another male driver was pronounced deceased. According to the Glenview Police Department one driver was uninjured. The conditions or circumstances of the other three drivers was not released.
The deceased driver is identified as Young Park, age 73 of Northbrook, Illinois.
The roadway has reopened to traffic.
The cause of the crash has yet to be determined, no citations have been issued.
Preliminary investigation reveals there were six vehicles involved in the traffic crash, according to Glenview Police Department.
The crash remains under investigation by the Glenview Police Department with assistance from the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force’s Major Crash Assistance Team (NORTAF MCAT).
