Warehouse Fire at Access Documents Storage Facility on Humbracht Circle Bartlett

Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Bartlett responded just before 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2021 to a report of a fire in a commercial warehouse building fire at 1200 Humbracht Circle in Bartlett. The warehouse building is approximately 370 feet by 230 feet.

A MABAS Division 2 Box Alarm #1T was requested at 10:05 a.m.

Firefighters from as far as Arlington Heights, Barrington-Countryside FPD, Hoffman Estates, Mount Prospect, Palatine and Schaumburg responded to the scene. An Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect Tower ladder were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was declared under control about 11:39 a.m. and some of the extra fire crews were released. A mobile ventilation truck was on the scene.

Initially, it was unknown whether firefighters were still on the scene when the rekindle occurred, but fire command announced the fire rekindled about 3:40 p.m., and another Box Alarm was activated for Box #1T. Soon there was fire through the roof, and several walls began to collapse

A collapse safety zone was setup up around the building.
