Police Investigate Reported Hit-and-Run Vehicle Crash with Bicyclist Injured on Douglas Ave Near Oakton St Arlington Heights

Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2022 to a report of a vehicle crash with a bicyclist with the bicyclist injured in the block of 900 North Douglas Avenue in Arlington Heights.

Police received a report the driver of a silver Nissan SUV fled the scene. Initially there was no physical description of the driver available, or whether the police identified the suspect.

The crash was located around the middle of the block on Douglas Avenue between Frederick Street and Oakton Street.
