Lindsey Pearlman, who was last seen Sunday, February 13, 2022 in the block of 1600 North Mariposa Avenue in East Hollywood, was found dead in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood Friday morning.
Concerned family and friends, along with the Los Angeles Police Department, were asking for the public’s help finding Pearlman.
Lindsey Pearlman, age 43, failed to return home, and her loved ones feared for her safety, according to an LAPD news release.
Today around 8:30 a.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a radio call for a death investigation at Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue. The L.A. County Coroner’s Office has since confirmed the individual to be Lindsey Erin Pearlman. The cause of death will be determined by the coroner.
Wattles Farm, located near the intersection, is an organic community garden located in Hollywood, California. Wattles Mansion and Gardens is an LA Parks and Recreation facility that is used to host weddings and special events. Her last seen location at 1600 North Mariposa Avenue in East Hollywood is about 3 1/2 miles from the location where her body was found.
According to Deadline, Lindsey Pearlman had recurring roles on General Hospital, Chicago Justice, BET+’s The Ms. Pat Show and, most recently, Vicious, which streams on Urbanflix. Lindsey Pearlman also worked on Empire, Seaky Pete, the Purge TV series and Selena: The Series.
Lindsey Pearlman played the roll of Dr. Joy Fletcher in NBC’s Chicago Justice.
She was described as a 43-year old female, white, brown hair, brown eyes, standing at 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing 140 pounds. It was unknown what she was wearing at the time she went missing.
During the search for Lindsey Pearlman, her cousin Savannah Pearlman posted on Twitter, “Lindsey drives a dark silver 2015 Honda Fit. CA license plate # 8ASD502” Her phone “last pinged on Sunset blvd.”
According to IMDb, Lindsey was a Chicago-bred actor. “She was a recipient of the prestigious Joseph Jefferson Award for Actress in a Principal Role, for her work in the play NEVER THE BRIDESMAID. A graduate of The Second City Conservatory, she has toured the world with Catharsis Productions’ SEX SIGNALS, using improv and comedy to address the difficult issue of sexual assault on college campuses and military installations. She also toured the U.S. with Second City’s production of THE REALISH HOUSEWIVES, in which Pearlman received much critical praise.”
Pearlman has also appeared in advertisements for Coors Light, the City of Cincinnati, T-Mobile, Sears, CVS and many more, according to her biography in IMDb.
She described herself as an activist for humans and animals.
