A family of two adults, three kids, and six dogs living and traveling in a remodeled 1983 Silver Eagle Bus are fairly certain they passed Gabby Petito’s white Ford Transit van on August 27, 2021 about 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The van was parked on the side of the road near a tree line with an open field beyond the tree line. Jenn, Kyle, and children Ben, Molly, and Eli were traveling at the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping site while a video camera on the van was capturing video. When it came time to review the video captured, a van fitting the description of the Ford Transit in the Gabby Petito’s case was discovered.

Actually the YouTube couple were prompted with a little help by someone on Facebook to check their videos that were captured in the time period of August 25 and August 27, 2021. When they reviewed the video, they recognized the van and authorities were notified.

Brian Laundrie Missing in Florida
Police confirmed Brian Laundrie is missing after police spent the day in the family’s home Friday. North Port police were walking freely in and out of Brian Laundrie’s family’s house as a crowd of demonstrators with posters were calling for Brian Laundrie to cooperate with the investigation while standing in front of his parents’ home.
Brian Laundrie is described as a white man, standing about 5’8″ tall 160 LBS. Laundrie has short brown hair, trimmed facial hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a hiking bag which had a waist strap, according to the North Port Police Department.
As of Friday night the case involves “multiple missing person investigations” not a criminal investigation. However, Brian Laundrie is a person of interest in the missing person case of Gabby Petito.

The FBI removed property from the home of Brian Laundrie’s family on Friday to assist in locating Brian Laundrie, and was actively searching for both Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie.
Joe Petito, Gabby’s father, was involved in a police “public service” incident on September 10, 2021, according to a police report referencing Gabby Petito’s fiancé Brian Laundrie’s home in North Port, Florida. Joe Petito was on the scene near the Laundrie home nine days after Brian Laundrie returned to Florida without Gabby, following the couple’s cross-country road trip, and a day before Gabby was reported missing by her mother, , on September 11, 2021. September 10 and September 11 are key dates, but represent a small part of the complicated timeline involving the missing person case of Gabby Petito. Initially the focus of the missing person search for Gabby Petito involves Utah and Wyoming.
