Cook County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 to a report of shots fired in the block of 2200 West Nichols Road in unincorporated Palatine Township (a neighborhood with an unincorporated Arlington Heights mailing address).
Upon arrival, investigators learned that multiple shots were fired near an apartment complex by unidentified male individuals. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Cook County Sheriff’s Police Detectives at 708-865-4896.
