The Senate voted Saturday, February 13, 2021 to acquit former President Donald Trump on a charge of inciting the January 6, 2021 siege at the US Capitol. Lana Zak asked a question in a tone that seemed to belittle the defense’s presentation of doctored evidence that demonstrated intentional insertion of a fake validated Twitter checkmark, unexplained intentional editing of the date on a Twitter screen grab to change the temporal context of the tweet, and side-by-side videos showing edited and raw versions used by Impeachment Managers to manipulate audience understanding of what actually happened on the day of the US Capitol siege.
