Crash with Injuries on Hintz Road Near Mark Lane in Wheeling

Police and firefighter/paramedics from Wheeling responded about 6:17 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020 to a report of a crash with injuries in the block of 1400 West Hintz Road. Prospect Heights firefighter/paramedics were dispatched to Hintz Road and Schoenbeck Road at 6:14 p.m., but there was no crash at that location.

Police and firefighter/paramedics on arrival discovered two or three vehicles involved in a crash on Hintz Road near Mark Lane. One of the vehicle was off the road and across a sidewalk in front of a townhouse.

Injuries did not initially appear to be serious injuries. Police checked a backpack at the scene, but there didn’t appear to be any arrests.
