Hit-and-Run vehicle vs bicycle at US 14 and Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights
Police and firefighter/paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 7:32 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 to a report of a vehicle crash with a bicyclist at the intersection of Northwest Highway and Euclid Avenue.
Police and firefighter/paramedics on arrival discovered a female adult injured from the crash. Paramedics assessed and treated the adult female, who refused medical transport to Northwest Community Hospital.
A family of four was riding their bicycles in the area when the mom was hit and injured.
Initially the only description available of the offending vehicle was a dark sedan headed eastbound on Euclid Avenue after the crash. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
