Chicago police are investigating leads that a black Infiniti sedan was one of the vehicles were used to flee the scene.

According ABC 7 Chicago, friends and people who know the deceased man identified the victim as Chicago rapper FBG Duck. FBG Duck was 26 years-old. ‘FBG’ is the abbreviation for “Fly Boy Gang.”

According to an FBG Duck interview with journalist Vladislav Lyubovny “DJ Vlad” in 2017, FBG Duck had been shot on two separate occasions — once in the ankle and calf, and then on a second occasion he was shot in the same leg as the first time. In the interview, FBG Duck also said that he was stabbed in the abdomen by a girlfriend. In the interview, FBG Duck said he moved around like a ghost to prevent getting shot. He said he could see you, but you can’t see him.

When asked by Lyubovny (VLADTV) whether FBG Duck was concerned about his safety with gang wars occurring, the rapper said he never takes his kids out in public. He said he know the kind of lifestyle he lives and would put his children in harm’s way. He said if he takes his kids outside, they go to the suburbs. In the 2017 interview, he said he doesn’t walk the sidewalks with his kids in the City of Chicago.

He also explains how to carry yourself properly and how to move around “like a ghost” while staying in Chicago. He contemplates leaving the city, but decides against it, citing his different mentality when it comes to his safety. He also discusses being stabbed by his ex-girlfriend.
