Fire Department Activity for a Burst Pipe, Flooded Electrical Vault at Hampton Inn & Suite at Randhurst Village

Police and firefighter/paramedics from Mount Prospect responded about 10:10 a.m. Saturday April 18, 2020 to a report of a burst water pipe at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 1 Randhurst Village.

Crews on arrival met with engineering staff and began investigating the source of the water leak.

An ambulance and an engine were dispatched to the scene around 11:00 a.m. One person was transported to Northwest Community Hospital for an unknown medical incident. The extra engine crew was also placed out of service while assisting the ambulance crew.

ComEd was also called to the scene for a flooded electric vault room.
