Video Seconds Before Metra Train Hit Car; Attorney Already Had Camera Set to Monitor 87th St and Pulaski Rd Where Railway Runs Through Middle of Intersection

Attorney Ben Crain points out that there has been more than one accident involving Metra trains at 87th Street and Pulaski Road, and one of them left two people dead. CBS 2 Investigator Megan Hickey reports.

There’s no surprise for some people that there have been multiple crashes at the intersection of 87th Street and Pulaski Road near the border of Chicago and Hometown, Illinois. The Metra train line runs right through the middle of the intersection and is reported to be confusing to navigate by motorists.

Attorney Ben Crain was so sure that there would be another crash following a fatal crash in 2015, that he installed a security video camera overlooking the intersection at a nearby business.

Another serious crash occurred three weeks later in 2016.
