Illinois State Police and firefighter/paramedics from Minooka responded about 8:50 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 to a report of a serious multi-vehicle crash with fire on eastbound I-80 near mile marker 121. Initial report indicated seven people were injured.
A MABAS Division 15 Box Alarm #13-AM for ambulances only was activated for the crash on Interstate 80 eastbound at Mile Marker 121.
Mutual aid ambulances responded from Channahon, Coal City, East Joliet, Joliet, Minooka, Morris, Oswego, Troy, and Rockdale.
Coal City, East Joliet, Joliet and Rockdale were due on the EMS Box Alarm.
A Lifestar medical transport helicopter was also dispatched to the scene.
