San Francisco 49ers Silence Critics with Super Bowl Run | NBC Sports Bay Area

The 49ers react to defeating the Packers 37-20 in the NFC Championship Game to earn a trip to Super Bowl LIV.

The San Francisco 49ers have had some critics, but Joe Montana predicted the 49ers would meet the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LIV on February 2, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. CT. Super Bowl LIV in Miami will be broadcast live from Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida.

Kevin Seifert, national NFL writer for ESPN is a believer in the 49ers. He picks the 49ers,”They have been remarkably consistent all season, and there’s no reason to think they’ll change now.”

In fact, five of seven NFL writers for ESPN pick the San Francisco 49ers. Seth Wickersham (@SethWickersham), senior writer picks the 49ers, “They will come out throwing, and Garoppolo will win MVP.”
