Police and firefighter/paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 2:54 p.m. Wednesday January 8, 2020 to a report of a rollover crash with injuries on Central Road in front of Northwest Community Hospital and Manor Care at 800 West Central Road. A 911 caller reported two people were still in the rolled vehicle. A paramedic crew leaving the hospital also reported the crash.
The first Arlington Heights fire crew on arrival reported a vehicle upside down on its roof. One or two occupants of the rolled vehicle were transported to Northwest Community Hospital with injuries that initially appeared to be non-life-threatening.
The crash was affecting traffic at Central Road and Fernandez Avenue with traffic blocked in both directions between Fernandez Avenue Avenue and the Northwest Community Hospital west driveway. The crash was cleared by 3:45 p.m. Westbound lanes opened first.
