Mount Prospect Police responded to a report of a body on the sidewalk of Kensington Road, just east of Prospect High School, shortly after 11 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2019.
Two police units responded and found a middle-aged male passed out, curled in a semi-fetal position, on the north side of Kensington.
The initial determination of police officers was that, “He’s OK. It looks like he just had too much too drink.”
Mount Prospect firefighter/paramedics were dispatched to the block of 600 West Kensington Road, Mount Prospect and assessed the man at the scene. As a precautionary measure, the man was transported to Northwest Community Hospital by Mount Prospect firefighter/paramedics.
The citizen who discovered the man later said, “I was out for a walk. At first glance, I thought one of those industrial-sized Hefty Bags had tipped over. When I saw it was a person, I immediately called police. The fellow was in a dead sleep and there was absolutely no one around. It was spooky.”
