The Arlington Heights Police Department released today Tuesday August 27, 2019 that the police department is investigating an Attempted Luring, which occurred about 3:50 p.m. Saturday August 17, 2019 near Dryden Elementary School near Central Road and Dryden Place.

The victim, a freshman in high school, was walking in the neighborhood selling items for a fundraiser when the suspect drove up to the victim and offered her money in exchange for a sexual act. The suspect subsequently sped away from the scene, according to the Arlington Heights Police Department.

The suspect is described as a male/white, approximately 20 years-old, and driving a red 4-door car similar to the vehicle pictured in this article. The police composite sketch for the suspect is also included with this article.

Police urge anyone with information to send police a tip by texting keyword 847AHPD and the tip to 847411.
