Conservatives attending CPAC recently highlighted socialism as a facet of the new Democratic Party. Charles Hurt says socialism is a form of tyranny and that hundreds of millions of people historically have been killed in the name of socialism and tyranny.

Austan Goolsbee said if conservatives want to talk as though the Democratic Party is involved in a socialist takeover is like calling the poodle “killer.”

Goolsbee also said the most extreme conservatives at CPAC are “wackadoodle nuts.”

The panel included …

University of Chicago Economic Professor Austan Goolsbee, former economic advisor to President Barack Obama;

Sebastian Gorka, former Deputy Assistant to President Donald Trump; and

Charles Hurt, Fox News Contributor and opinion editor with the Washington Times.

CPAC is the Conservative Political Action Conference, which is an annual political conference that is held annually in February or March. The political conference is attended by conservative activists and elected officials.
