The election of Mayor of Chicago on February 26, 2019 is officially nonpartisan. Considering there are a multitude of candidates, if no candidate receives a majority of votes; a runoff election between the two candidates with the most votes will be held on April 2, 2019.
The mayoral candidate that wins is be elected to a four-year term.
