Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:05 PM Monday August 13, 2018 to a report of a car crash into a gas pump with fire at the Mobil gas station, 7 North Northwest Highway Palatine, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics arrived to find an SUV crash with a gas pump and the gas station canopy on fire. The fire was extinguished with foam and dry chem.
There were minor or no injuries on the scene. The driver, possibly a female, was check by Ambulance 83 crew paramedics.
The gas pump was knocked off of the island, and the SUV came to rest against the gas station building.
