Chicago Fire Department Unveils 5 New Ambulances To Address Shortage, Delays Amid Criticism

The five ambulances placed in service provisionally, effective August 1, 2018 are …

Ambulance 76 at Engine Co. 115;s quarter at 11940 South Peoria Street,

Ambulance 77 at Engine Co. 38’s quarters at 3949 West 16th Street,

Ambulance 78 at Engine Co. 88’s quarters at 3637 West 59th Street,

Ambulance 79 at Engine Co. 121’s quarters at 1724 West 95th Street, and

Ambulance 80 at Engine Co. 107’s quarters at 1101 South California Avenue.

None of the new Dodge chassis ambulances were on display or visible in the the CBS Chicago report.
