Lakemoor police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:40 AM Thursday August 3, 2017 Report of a MABAS Division 4 Box Alarm on Box #20-23 for a structure fire at the Lakemoor Golf Club, 29000 Sullivan Lake Rd Lakemoor, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a structure fire and immediately saw smoke while responding to the Lakemoor Golf Club. The Fox Lake fire chief immediately requested at box alarm (extra alarm) upon arrival at the scene of the fire. Within two minutes the alarm was elevated to a 2nd Alarm.
A MABAS Division 4 Box Alarm on Box #20-23 for a structure fire at the Lakemoor Golf Club was requested by 10:47 a.m.
Fox Lake Fire Chief 2200 reported a large header en route to the fire. Thick black smoke was seen from several points in the area more than one mile away.
Fox Lake Fire Chief 2200 on arrival reported a large industrial building fully-involved with fire, and requested immediate traffic control. Sullivan Lake Road was closed in both directions west of US 12. Lakemoor Golf Club is almost one mile west of US 12.
