Vehicle Burglary, Stolen Auto Reported at Waukegan Road and Willow Road, Northbrook

Northbrook police received a report about 3:30 AM Tuesday July 25, 2017 of a stolen auto and burglary Waukegan Road and Willow Road Northbrook, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders committed a vehicle burglary and were possibly fleeing in a stolen white Jeep Patriot with a partial license plate of 580.

A Wilmette police unit attempted to stop the vehicle on southbound I-94 at Pratt, but the vehicle driver fled with the vehicle.

The vehicle was seen southbound on I-94 approaching Cicero Avenue about 3:38 a.m.

The crime is reported to have occurred about 3:30 a.m.

The vehicle passed Division Street at 3:44 a.m. at about 60 mph, and Hubbard’s Cave at 3:45 a.m.

Illinois State Police were following the vehicle as the vehicle headed eastbound on I-290/Congress Parkway. The vehicle headed southbound on Clinton at 3:46 a.m. and ran a red light.

The pursuit was terminated at 3:48 a.m.
