Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:34 AM Thursday to 717 West Kirchhoff Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a power line was down near St Simon’s Church, near Kirchhoff Road and Fernandez Avenue.
Due to repairs with ComEd trucks in the roadway, Kirchhoff Road has been closed between Central Road and Dwyer Avenue and/or Wilke Road.
About 420 ComEd customers are without power nearby in an area centered around Fairview Street and Patton Avenue near Pioneer Park.
About 5 ComEd customers are without power near St Simon’s Episcopal Church.
Fire Engine 2’s crew initially responded to investigate the power line trouble about 9:34 a.m.
