The video shows the moment two bullets went through the window narrowly missing the little girl from being hit.
Chandler Police Department (Arizona) responded Monday to a shots fired call when a young girl was narrowly missed by bullets targeted for someone else.
According to court paperwork, Michael Hart, age 23, got into an argument with employees at the tattoo shop near Chandler Boulevard and Alma School Road Monday and then fired several shots from a vehicle outside toward the shop. The shots missed the tattoo parlor and hit a barber shop window instead. Surveillance video just released shows those shots actually hitting a barber shop nearby, nearly hitting a young girl who was inside.
The young girl luckily sat down in a seat that happened to be right between the path of two bullets. That young girl can be seen in the video running away immediately after shots were fired. She was injured by glass debris but was not struck by either bullet.
Michael Hart was arrested Tuesday April 11, 2017 at his home in Mesa.
A second man, Rafael Santos, age 21, was also involved in the altercation that happened at the tattoo parlor and was identified by witnesses, according to police.
Court paperwork doesn’t detail Santos’ involvement in the shots fired incident, but declares he was charged with discharging a firearm, endangerment and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
