Jos. A. Bank Store Closes in Arlington Heights February 2017

The Jos. A. Bank store at 11 South Evergreen Avenue in Arlington Heights has closed in the Arlington Town Square shopping center.

Currently the former Panera Bread location, the Jos. A. Bank location and three other smaller store locations are empty in Arlington Town Square. Red Moon Cafe closed in 2014. Panera Bread has been closed since February of 2015. A former cell phone store location just south of the Starbucks location has been empty for several years.

Last year Tailored Brands announced plans to close between 80 to 90 Jos. A. Bank stores nationwide, and closed all 49 outlet stores in 2016. Tailored Brands (NYSE:TLRD), the parent company of the men’s clothing store was formerly known as Men’s Wearhouse. Tailored Brands, Inc. headquarters is located in Houston, Texas.

The windows of the Jos. A. Bank store were covered with covered with brown paper. A sign on the front door was displayed to encourage shoppers to visit the Jos. A Bank store at the Deer Park Town Center in Deer Park near Lake Zurich.

Arlington Town Square has restricted parking at the surface level, and has experienced occasional criminal damage, vehicle burglary incidents, and problems with vagrants in the lower level parking garage.
