Residential Burglary on South Ridge Ave Near Central Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:31 PM Thursday of a residential burglary at 1000 South Ridge Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a home by making forced entry to the locked front door.

The residents that live at the home were out walking their dog when the burglary occurred. They returned home to find the break-in at the front door.

The offender or offenders apparently used a pillowcase to carry out an Apple iPad and several jewelry boxes — including the jewelry in the boxes.

The values of the items taken were unknown at the time of the police report.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Thursday, January 19, 2017 between 12:45 PM and 01:30 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:45 (hours: minutes).
