Chicago Weather Records for 2015 from the National Weather Service


The National Weather Service Chicago has published the records established during 2015. Significant snow happened occurred in February and November, which brought a near record snow year.

We never reached the upper 90s or 100 degree temperatures for 2015. The highest temperatures were recorded at 92°F on September 6 (2:22 PM), August 15 (2:24 PM) and July 17 (2:43 PM) ( links).

The lowest temperature for 2015 was unusually late in the Winter season on February 28 (5:36 AM).

The latest freeze date was April 23, 2015.

The earliest season freeze date was October 15, 2015.
