Elevated Carbon Monoxide Levels at a Warehouse on Ashbury Dr, Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:43 AM Monday to an odor investigation at a warehouse at 1000 Ashbury Drive Buffalo Grove, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report people in a large warehouse were complaining of an odor. When firefighters arrived some people had already evacuated the building.

Upon arrival, firefighters checked the interior with a gas meter and detected elevated Carbon Monoxide levels.

Firefighters were evacuating the entire building by 6:50 a.m. The elevated levels possibly came from Unit 2 in the warehouse, and spread to other areas of the warehouse.
