Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:33 PM Sunday to a report of a person that a person jumped in front of a train at the railroad tracks near Baldwin Rd and Northwest Highway Palatine, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a man jumped in front of a train. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Metra Train #713 scheduled to arrive at Harvard at 4:20 p.m. is stopped at the scene.
