Arlington Heights Weather Forecast: High 43-44, Light Snow Every Day This Week Starting 2 AM Tuesday

Chicagoland weather radar is all clear at about 8:25 a.m. Some rain is heading east over Lake Michigan to the Michigan shore. The next chance for precipitation is about 2:00 a.m. Tuesday morning until about 8:00 a.m. — about 0.4 inch of snow is forecast. Snow is forecast to start up again for the Tuesday evening rush hour from noon to midnight. The forecast calls for about 0.7 inch of snow by midnight Tuesday/Wednesday.

A series of Alberta clippers are expected to bring light snow to the area throughout this week. Light snow is forecast every day Tuesday through Friday.

Satellite images show mostly conditions for Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. A decrease in clouds is forecast after 2:00 p.m. Monday until about 9:00 p.m. when clouds return with incoming precipitation.

NBC 5 Storm Team: Not as generous with the degrees as the National Weather Service — 38 vs 43.

The temperature outlook for today improved with a forecast high of 43-44 degrees, well above the normal of 31 degrees. Friday is the only bitter cold day this week — forecast at 18 degrees.

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

A 40 percent chance of snow showers after 4am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 27. West wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south after midnight.

A chance of snow showers before 10am, then scattered snow showers after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Breezy, with a south wind 10 to 20 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Tuesday Night
Scattered snow showers before 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 14. Wind chill values as low as 1. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Partly sunny, with a high near 19. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday Night
A 20 percent chance of snow showers after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15.

A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. Breezy.

Thursday Night
A slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14. Breezy.

A slight chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 18.

Friday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 9.

Partly sunny, with a high near 25.

Saturday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14.
