Multiple Mailboxes Damaged: Criminal Damage To Property Near Beverly Ave and Jennifer Ct, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:01 AM Wednesday of criminal damage to property near Beverly Avenue and Jennifer Court Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders criminally damaged mailboxes in the area.

A witness heard noises from outside and they observed two offenders kicking and attempting to knock over a neighbor’s mailbox. The offenders left the area through the backyards. Police officers discovered seven damaged mailboxes in the 800 block of Jennifer Court and the 1500 block of Beverly Avenue. Damage estimate for two of the seven mailboxes is $100 each.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Tuesday July 9, 2013 at 11:45 p.m. and Wednesday July 10, 2013 at 7:00 a.m.
