The new 49ers Stadium is just down the street from Cisco Systems headquarters and other high-tech companies. Levi’s Stadium is currently under construction in Santa Clara, California, near California’s Great America theme park and the Santa Clara Convention Center. The stadium will be the new home of the San Francisco 49ers and is planned for completion in time for the 2014 National Football League (NFL) season. Construction started in April 2012.
Levi’s Stadium is scheduled to host NFL Super Bowl L in February 2016. The seat capacity is 68,500 — expandable to 75,000.
