Long Grove firefighter/paramedics and Lake County Sheriff responded about 10:17 AM Sunday to a report of a restaurant fire at Enzo and Lucia, 343 Old McHenry Road Long Grove, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that fire was showing from a vent — possibly a roof vent.
First firefighter/paramedics on arrival reported fire and smoke showing. By about 10:20 a.m. fire command reported good progress being made on extinguishing the fire. Firefighters needed to open up the roof for fire that spread up to the attic of the restaurant wood frame building.
Firefighter/paramedics from Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Countryside, Lake Forest, Palatine, Prospect Heights and others assisted Long Grove firefigther/paramedics.
